Synopsis

Synopsis: The suspense thriller movie "The Revenge of the Painter" tells the story of the heroine Ruowei (played by Zhao Ran) and her cousin Zhuangyan (played by Lian Kai) who grew up together. However, because of an extramarital affair between Ruowei's mother and Zhuangyan's father, Ruowei left her hometown early, and thus developed an unresolved knot in her hometown. Fate has arranged for Ruowei, who has become a well-known writer, to return to the house where she lived as a child, but it is her cousin Zhuangyan who has been living there. Ruowei's best friends Xiaoxi (played by Tian Ye) and Qiongzi (played by Qin Yu) also live in Ruowei's old house by chance because of Qiongzi's emotional trauma, and what awaits them will be a thrilling and unexpected ending...
