SceneToDrama is a discovery platform that helps you find publicly available Chinese dramas on YouTube. We do not host, stream, or store copyrighted videos ourselves — every play button opens the original YouTube upload.

SceneToDrama ("we", "us", "our") is the seller of the SceneToDrama service and the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

This policy explains what we collect when you use SceneToDrama, why we collect it, the legal basis we rely on to process it, who we share it with, and the control you have over your information.

Billing information (Drama+ subscribers and donors)

When you purchase a Drama+ membership or make a donation, checkout, payment, billing, tax and invoicing are handled by our payment processor PayPal (see "Third Party Services" below). Payment card and bank details are collected directly by PayPal — we never see or store your full card number or PayPal login. We receive a limited billing record from PayPal (such as your name, billing country, subscription status, transaction ID and payer ID) so we can activate your membership and provide customer support.

Where UK/EU data protection law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to create your account, deliver the SceneToDrama service, and fulfil paid Drama+ memberships and donations.
• Legitimate interests — to keep the service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, understand how the site is used, and improve discovery and recommendations.
• Consent — for optional cookies, optional profile fields, and any marketing communications you choose to receive. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and other laws that apply to us and to our payment provider.

We use a small number of cookies to keep SceneToDrama working smoothly:

We use anonymous analytics to understand which pages and searches are useful. We do not sell personal information to anyone, ever.

Comments, ratings, and public watchlists you publish on SceneToDrama may be visible to other users. Do not post personal information you would not want public.

PayPal (payment processor)

We use PayPal to process all paid Drama+ memberships and donations. When you check out, PayPal collects and processes your payment details, billing address, tax location, and related transaction data in order to take payment, issue receipts, handle chargebacks, and manage refunds and cancellations.

PayPal acts as an independent data controller for the payment data it collects. Their processing is governed by the PayPal Privacy Statement and the PayPal User Agreement.

SceneToDrama links only to publicly available YouTube uploads. We do not host videos.

Other recipients

• Professional advisers (such as legal and accounting) where necessary.
• Authorities and regulators where we are legally required to disclose information.

• View the data associated with your account
• Edit your profile information
• Download a copy of your data
• Delete your account
• Request corrections to inaccurate data

When you delete your account we remove your profile, email, avatar, watchlists, and personal preferences.

Community contributions such as accepted answers may be anonymised and retained so that solved threads remain useful. Moderation logs may be retained where required for safety and abuse prevention.

SceneToDrama is intended for users aged 13 or older. If you are under 16 (or the age required by your country's laws) you should use SceneToDrama with the permission or supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.

Content notice. SceneToDrama is a discovery platform for publicly available drama content. Some linked dramas may contain themes such as romance, family conflict, revenge, or emotional situations that may not be suitable for all audiences. Viewer discretion is advised, and parental guidance is recommended for younger users.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make meaningful changes we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app.
